Motivational Monday, Part 3 living at a higher level, the alchemy of creation and transformation

The hidden power within our being
We are on a journey to self-mastery. In recent weeks we have learned to know ourselves, embody our values, honor our bodies and purify our minds. Today we are entering a realm that often goes unsaid, but is at the core of our human potential: our creative power, rooted in the deepest layers of our being - our sexual energy, our life flame.

This energy is more than a biological impulse; it is the source of all life, of art, of innovation and of vision. It is the spark that orders chaos, that makes the invisible tangible. But in a world that encourages us to waste - through uncontrolled lust, distraction or the pursuit of momentary gratification - this power often remains untapped. Those who learn to channel this energy transcend reactivity and become a conscious creator of their own reality.

In this article, we dive into three pillars that help us awaken and focus this power: transforming sexual energy, embracing our creative nature, and cultivating gratitude as a gateway to abundance. This is not a call for superficial self-improvement, but an alchemical transformation of the self - a process that requires discipline, intention and courage.

7. Transform your sexual energy - from drift to creation
"He who controls his lusts is more powerful than he who takes a city." - Proverbs 16:32 "The yogi ... who transcends his lusts attains the true path of freedom." - Bhagavad Gītā 6:2
Sexual energy is the primal force of life itself. In nature, it brings procreation; in man, it brings creation in all its forms: a painting, a venture, a vision, a spiritual breakthrough. But in our modern culture, this energy is often reduced to an impulse to be satisfied or suppressed. Both approaches waste its potential. The true art lies in transmutation: transforming this raw power into something higher.

Philosopher Nietzsche spoke of the "will to power" as the driving force behind human creativity and self-transcendence. Sexual energy is a manifestation of this will - a reservoir of vital force that, if consciously directed, enables us to move mountains. It is no coincidence that great artists, thinkers and spiritual leaders often spoke of periods of celibacy or focused discipline: they channeled their life energy into their work, their mission, their search for truth.

But how do we transform this energy without denying it? It begins with awareness. Our impulses are not the enemy; they are signals from an inner force that demands expression. Suppressing them leads to stagnation; indulging them uncontrollably leads to exhaustion. The key is to observe, understand and direct this energy toward creative or spiritual goals.

Practical exercises:
    - Observe and direct: When you feel a strong impulse, pause. Breathe deeply and ask yourself, "What can I create with this energy?" Write down an idea, start a project, or use the energy to overcome an obstacle.
    - Physical channel: Transform tension through movement. Strength training, yoga, running or a cold shower can channel energy from the body and transform it into vitality.
    - Creative channel: Use moments of high energy to create. Write a poem, design a plan, compose music. Let the energy flow into something lasting.
    - Meditation and breathing: Practice pranayama (yogic breathing) or mindfulness to center the energy. Visualize how you direct this power toward a specific goal, such as a golden light feeding your work.
Just as a shot of ginger gives your body a powerful boost, consciously focusing your sexual energy can awaken your mind and soul. It is a process of inner alchemy: turning lead (uncontrolled impulses) into gold (conscious creation).

8. Use your creative power - become an architect of your world
"God created man in His image; male and female He created them." - Genesis 1:27 "He who plants a seed has the power to create a forest." - Sufi saying
Human beings are unique in their ability to create. We are not only creatures, but creators, made in the image of a creative source. Every thought, every word, every action is a building block in the temple of our life. But too often we live reactively, driven by circumstances, habits or the expectations of others. A creator lives differently: he consciously chooses what he builds, from his body to his relationships, from his work to his legacy.

Existential thinkers such as Sartre emphasized that humans are condemned to freedom: we have no choice but to choose how we shape our lives. This responsibility can be heavy, but it is also a gift. Each day offers a blank canvas on which to paint. A conscious creator asks, "What do I want to leave behind? What world do I want to build?" This requires courage, because creating means taking risks, accepting failure and continuing anyway.

The Sufis speak of the power of a single seed that can become a forest. This reminds us that creation need not always be grand. A kind word, a tidy space, a new idea - all these small acts are creations that create ripples in the world. By consciously creating, we step out of the chaos of chance and become architects of our reality.
Practical exercises:
    - Set a daily intention: Begin each morning with the question, "What am I creating today?" Write down one concrete goal, big or small, that will bring you closer to your vision.
    - Build something tangible: Each week, create something you can see, touch or share - a letter, a meal, a project plan, a piece of art. This trains your creative muscle.
    - Celebrate the small: Recognize that every act of creation counts. Cleaning up your desk or helping another person is as sacred as starting a business.
    - Ritual of creation: Use a ginger shot as a symbol of your intention to build. Speak aloud: "Today I am creating with focus and power."
Our life is our masterpiece. By consciously creating, we honor not only ourselves, but also the creative force that brought us into being.

9. Live in gratitude - the gateway to abundance
"Whoever is grateful, I will give him more." - Qur'an 14:7 "Gratitude is not only the greatest virtue, but also the mother of all others." - Cicero
Gratitude is not a sentimental emotion; it is a spiritual technology. It reprograms our minds to see abundance where others see lack, to recognize opportunity where others see obstacles. In psychology, gratitude is linked to increased well-being, better relationships and even physical health. But on a deeper level, gratitude is an act of surrender: a recognition that we are part of a greater whole, that we receive and give in an infinite cycle of abundance.
The Qur'an promises that gratitude leads to more blessings, and Cicero calls it the source of all virtues. Why? Because gratitude releases us from the prison of the ego. Complaining and comparing keep us trapped in a mindset of scarcity; gratitude opens us to the reality that we already have enough to begin with. It is the key that unlocks the gateway to abundance.

But gratitude is not a passive state - it is an active practice. It requires discipline to consciously choose appreciation even in difficult moments. It requires humility to recognize that we don't do everything alone. And it requires courage to express gratitude even when the world prompts us to cynicism.
Practical exercises:
    - Gratitude notebook: Every night, write down three things for which you are grateful. Be specific: not "I am thankful for my family," but "I am thankful for my child's smiling face today."
    - Express gratitude: Make it a habit to thank someone at least once a day - a colleague, a friend, a stranger. This not only builds relationships but also strengthens your own abundance mindset.
    - Anchor your gratitude: Use a daily ritual, such as drinking a ginger shot, to consciously practice gratitude. Speak aloud: "I am grateful for my body, my energy, and the opportunities of this day."
    - Reflect in adversity: When faced with a challenge, ask yourself, "What can I learn from this? What can I be grateful for, even now?" This changes your perspective and opens up new possibilities.
Gratitude is a muscle that gets stronger the more you train it. The more you practice it, the more your life becomes infused with abundance.

The third layer of the structure
With these three pillars - transforming sexual energy, embracing your creative power, and cultivating gratitude - we build a solid foundation for a life of meaning and impact. These are not separate concepts, but parts of a holistic process:
    - Transmutation makes us masters of our inner powers.
    - Creation allows us to shape our outer world.
    - Gratitude connects us to the bigger picture, allowing us to both receive and give.

Together, these practices transform us from passive observers to active creators. They call for discipline, but promise freedom. They require courage, but offer abundance. They require introspection, but lead to action.
Next week we will dive even deeper into the art of energy management, protecting our inner resources, and discerning true and false influences. For everything we build must be protected - from waste, from distraction, and from forces that seek to undermine us.

Until then: transform, create and thank. Every day. With heart, mind, body and soul.
