Yesterday, the Be Your Own Hero & Foundation Dance and Care performance of Baka Skoro the stage in a true celebration of talent and connection. From the youngest participants to the most experienced dancers, all exuded joy and confidence. With their sparkling choreography and flair, they thrilled every spectator, from smiles to emotional tears.
Baka Skoro is more than a dance group: it is a safe haven for young people from local homes and after-school programs. Thanks to the vision of director Rivelino Ligeon these boys and girls not only get professional dance lessons, but also a chance to discover their own strengths. Legion introduced a genius point system management strategy: participants earn points through attendance, commitment and creative contributions. Those points act as a tangible reward system and encourage young people to keep growing continuously, on stage and off. This strategy employed there more managers may learn from.
The success of the show underscores the power of this approach. Where many traditional care programs get stuck in passive supervision, Baka Skoro is committed to active participation and personal development. The children sang, danced and spoke in a voice that echoed through the auditorium, "We are children." With a message louder than any political rhetoric, these wonderful children emphasized that investing in youth is not only a moral imperative, but the only path to sustainable change.
