Captain Donovan Wolff of the Suriname Air Force received his certificate for intensive English training at the Defense Language Institute (DLI) in Texas on May 9. With the completion of this demanding language course, Wolff meets an important requirement to continue in the prestigious Aviation Leadership Program, a follow-up program funded by the U.S. Department of Defense.
The program provides selected international officers with advanced flight and leadership training and helps strengthen military cooperation between the United States and partner countries such as Suriname. Wolff will begin advanced training later this year.
