This is my personal observation, and all indications are that the unprecedented level of money currently parked "on the sidelines" in treasury bills and money market funds could suddenly turn into a massive influx into digital assets, with Bitcoin, Ethereum and the promising altcoins as the big winners. Once the realization dawns that the purchasing power of fiat currencies is shrinking further, some of that hoarded capital totaling an estimated hundreds of billions of dollars will rush out of safe havens and seek alternatives that do offer protection against monetary dilution.
In the first wave, Bitcoin will act as the ultimate store of value: a scarce, decentralized network with a strictly limited supply of 21 million coins. Once major institutions and wealthy individuals sense the urgency, Bitcoin's price will shoot up parabolically in a short period of time. This puts traditional investors in the shade, who once faced with missed returns will panic into FOMO buyers, further fueling the liquidity wave.
At the same time, on-chain data shows that Ethereum is already gaining momentum. The recent Pectra upgrade has significantly improved the throughput of the network, and the deflationary EIP-1559 mechanisms reinforce the narrative of "digital scarcity. Once Ethereum passes the threshold of doubling, investors will look for faster gains and plunge into altcoins. After years of relative invisibility, projects like Solana, Cardano and even Tron are poised to pummel, a complete surprise to many, as these coins have been operating in the background for so long without the attention of the general public.
For those looking for even higher returns, the focus is on the latest narratives: AI tokens and Real-World-Asset (RWA) tokens. Artificial intelligence dominates technology headlines and successful AI projects in blockchain are expected to benefit handsomely from the spillover from traditional tech investments. Platforms like Ondo and Clearpool provide access to on-chain credit and loan markets, allowing institutional flows to these tokens to accelerate. With their typical starting point, the relative market value of RWA tokens halves that of AI token frontrunners, but the reverse is true for potential returns:high risk appetite here can lead to quadrupling, quintupling or more.
For the average investor, the message is that crypto is on the brink of a new chapter. The "perfect storm" of monetary stimulus, rising interest rates, institutional adoption and technological breakthroughs creates the ultimate ground for a parabolic ride up. HODL experts and newcomers will simultaneously have the opportunity to ride the coming boom with Bitcoin and Ethereum, complemented by carefully selected AI and RWA tokens.
