After extensive revisions and clarifications, the Independent Elections Bureau (OKB) has irrevocably endorsed the May 25, 2025 ballot on all electoral lines.
OKB Chairman Samseerali Sheikh-Alibaks presented an exhaustive list of the anomalies noted in the public session at Royal Torarica. This included formal appeals from various political parties, stakeholders and civil society organizations. The OKB carefully verified all complaints and reported the gaps found to the Central Electoral Bureau, which then made the necessary corrections through a supplementary official report.
Despite numerous protocoled comments, filed objections and addressed procedural errors, the result is final. This act falls within the statutory authority of the OKB based on its own investigation and observation. The official election outcome thus remains unchanged and is fully respected. All OKB members initialed the amended minutes, after which the ratification was greeted with assenting applause by the audience.
